Media matters – can Tunisia walk the tightrope between a free press and regulation?

The Tunisian independent media regulator HAICA set up as a ‘guardian of fairness’ has found itself under attack.

Struggling to establish itself in the face of opposition and interference from both the independent media owners as well as from political parties, HAICA’s future looks unclear.
