Rasha Sirop is an academic and economic researcher currently serving as a faculty member at the Faculty of Economics (Third Faculty Branch), Damascus University, and a board member of the Syrian Economic Sciences Association.

She has published extensively on macroeconomic issues and public finance in Syria, including inflation, unemployment, investment, exchange rates, and state budgeting. Her field research focuses on poverty, labor markets, small and micro-enterprises, and women’s economic empowerment.
