Maha Bouhlel is an Assistant Professor, Department of Geography, Faculty of Letters, Arts and Humanities, Manouba University, Tunisia. She holds a Ph.D. in geographical sciences (thesis: “Urban expansion and environmental disparities in the city of Sfax / Tunisia”) and is a researcher in the Sifact Laboratory at the University of Sfax. She is a previous recipient of a scholarship from the short-term post-doctoral fellowship program in the humanities from the “Arab Council for Human Sciences” and the “House of Human Sciences in Paris” “FMSH” at the “International Research Center” “CERI” affiliated with the “Faculty of Political Sciences in Paris” Sciences-Po Paris » on the topic “Waste Management and Decentralization in the Arab World”. She holds APSA membership. She specializes in urban policies, public services management policies, and cities› sustainable development.
