
Khalil Gebara
Dr. Khalil Gebara is an Economics lecturer at the Lebanese American University.
Dr. Gebara is recognized as a trusted advisor, policymaker, and civil society advocate specializing in governance, local development, and public policy.
His extensive professional journey includes roles as an academic, researcher, and trainer. He has coordinated aid and donor support, conducted comprehensive research, organized advanced training courses, and engaged in high-level policy dialogues with governments, the private sector, and international organizations.
Dr. Gebara holds a Ph.D. in Middle Eastern Political Economy from Exeter University in the United Kingdom and served as a World Bank Consultant from March 2020 to June 2024. Previously, he served as an International Affairs and Policy Advisor to the Lebanese Minister of Interior and Municipalities from February 2014 to January 2019.
