Dr. Dina El Khawaga is an associate professor of public policy at Cairo University. Over the last twenty years, she worked as policy expert and program director at the Ford Foundation, the Open Society Foundations, The Arab Reform Initiative and the American University of Beirut. Dr. Dina works mainly in social activism, transnational social movements and the diverse configurations of civil society organization and mobilization in the region.
