Webinar Mosul after ISIS:  Political and Social Dynamics in Uncertain Times

The years since the defeat of ISIS in Mosul have presented a number of challenges for the rehabilitation of the city. The security situation remains perilous as ISIS’ reorganization and resurgence threaten to upend stability, while reconstruction of the city and the return of IDPs continue to advance at a frustratingly slow pace with no easy fixes. Within this context, the city has also witnessed important transformations to its political dynamics and power structures, as well as transformations in political agency and mobilization of different sectors of society. This webinar will explore these changing dynamics, with particular attention paid to the political trajectories of populations marginalized under ISIS, including women, youth, and minorities.

You can register to attend by following this link. You will receive a Zoom confirmation email should your registration be successful. Alternatively, you can watch the event live on our Facebook page.

The webinar will be in English with French interpretation available on Zoom only.
