Yara Al-Chehayed is Senior Consultant specializing in communication, research, and culture. With extensive experience in international organizations like the ICRC and World Vision, she has led impactful projects across the MENA region. Yara’s expertise spans from lobbying EU institutions on refugee issues to managing complex communication strategies. Currently pursuing a PhD at the Catholic University of Louvain, her research focuses on Cinema and War within the Department of Social Sciences. This academic pursuit builds upon her diverse background, which includes curating cultural events, authoring publications, and conducting oral history programmes.
