Sean Yom is Associate Professor of Political Science at Temple University and Non-Resident Senior Fellow at Democracy in the Arab World Now (DAWN). He is the author of Jordan: Politics in an Accidental Crucible (Oxford University Press, 2025) and From Resilience to Revolution: How Foreign Interventions Destabilize the Middle East (Columbia University Press, 2015). He sits on the editorial board of the International Journal of Middle East Studies and the editorial committee of Middle East Report.
