Saker El Nour

Sociologist

Saker El Nour is a sociologist with over 10 years of experience working on rural poverty alleviation, public policies, food rights, environment, agriculture and rural developments. He is an Associate Researcher at the UMR 201 Développement et Sociétés (Paris 1, IRD). He has carried out research in Egypt, Lebanon, and elsewhere in the Arab region about poverty dynamics, public policy, gender and work, agri-food system dynamics as well as environmentalism of the poor and socio-ecological system.
