Mona Younis, PhD, is a consultant on human rights strategy and evaluation. She has held leadership roles in human rights philanthropy and programming and co-founded the Fund for Global Human Rights and the Arab Human Rights Fund. Mona recently launched PRISM, a tool to strengthen the human rights movement’s impact. She holds a PhD in sociology from UC Berkeley and is the author of Liberation and Democratization, the first comprehensive comparison of the Palestinian and South African national liberation movements.
