Leila Rossa Mouawad is a researcher at the American University of Beirut – Nature Conservation Center where she engages in multidisciplinary projects. Through her educational background in forestry and current work in the environmental field, Leila is deeply committed to biodiversity conservation at multiple levels. With over five years of experience in science communication, Leila actively participated in international events to represent youth and support scientists in effectively communicating their complex messages to a wider audience. On a side note, Leila is passionate about nature photography and takes shots that highlight the hidden beauty in the world’s tiniest creatures.
