Genevieve Zingg

Legal Fellow at the Syria Justice and Accountability Centre

Genevieve Zingg is a Legal Fellow at the Syria Justice and Accountability Centre, where she has developed a particular focus on war crimes, extradition, economic sanctions, and international justice efforts. She holds a Graduate Diploma in Law from City, University of London and a Master’s in International Human Rights from Columbia University in New York, where she specialized in human rights in the context of national security, counterterrorism, and armed conflict with a regional focus on the Middle East and North Africa. She has substantial experience working with refugee communities in Greece and has previously conducted human rights fieldwork in Turkey and the Occupied Palestinian Territories. She is a research affiliate of the Canadian Network for Research on Terrorism and Security and a member of the International Bar Association.
