Farah Al Hattab

Independent Legal Researcher
My name is Farah Al Hattab, I was born and raised in the South of Lebanon. I graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health from the American University of Beirut, and a Bachelor of Law from the Lebanese University in 2022. I have been working for the past two years with Greenpeace International as a legal researcher with a particular interest in intersectional environmentalism, movement lawyering, and anti-SLAPP initiatives. I have focused this past year on the detrimental impact of the fossil fuel industry on the countries of the Global Majority, using a criminal/international law approach. I am currently interested in the development of community driven strategic litigation and its precedent-setting potential in the MENA region.
