Carol Abi Ghanem
Carol Abi Ghanem is a social psychologist and strategist. Her field of emphasis is the interplay between repression, identity and tactical change in resistance strategies. Carol has over seven years of experience in developing strategy in evidence-based participatory research, community mobilization, and capacity building and assessment in the local and regional spheres. As a feminist and activist for human rights, Carol emphasizes in her approach the intersectionality between progressive policy making and human rights advocacy with a gender lens. Among the articles Carol has published on public health and mental health, she has curated and delivered training programs and workshops on state repression, community mobilization and burnout suppression, organizational capacity building, program evaluation, and social justice.
