Berfin Necimoglu is a Programme Coordinator at the Arab Reform Initiative. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Social Sciences from Sciences Po Paris, Campus de Menton, with an extensive focus on the Middle East. She also holds a Masters degree in International Security from Sciences Po Paris School of International Affairs specialising in Diplomacy and the MENA region. Berfin has worked at the Arab Reform Initiative as an intern and helped with the launch of several new programs, including the Observatory of Political Economy. She also worked at the OECD’s Public Affairs and Communication’s Directorate as Fundraising Intern. Berfin recently submitted her Master’s thesis On the Decline of Military Influence in Turkey and is pursuing her studies on the Turkish Civil-Military Relations in the form of a PhD at King’s College London.
