The General Director and President of the Board of the Lebanese Center for Energy Conservation (LCEC), Lebanon’s national energy agency. El Khoury is the secretary of the Lebanon Committee of the World Energy Council (WEC) since 2011. With over 25 years of experience in the energy sector, El Khoury has been working on all aspects related to sustainable energy development in Lebanon, with renewable energy exceeding today 25% of the national electricity demand. He holds a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master degree in Engineering Management, both from the American University of Beirut (AUB).
