Certified conflict resolution coach and gender expert. Director of the Women’s Office. Member of the National Commission for Human Rights (NCHRL) and the Libya Women’s Forum (LWF). She served as a consultant in the Constitution Drafting Assembly and was part of the reconciliation, negotiation and humanitarian dialogue team. She also participated as an observer in the dialogue between the women of Yemen, Syria and Egypt and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA). She is a political activist, human rights activist, journalist and researcher who has received numerous awards and honors related to women’s issues, humanitarian issues and peace initiatives.
