Yusra Bitar is the Lebanon Research Fellow with the Environmental Politics program at the Arab Reform Initiative (ARI). Before joining ARI, she was a researcher with various types of organizations, including policy institutes, consulting firms, and political campaigns. She was most recently a climate justice researcher at the corporate accountability non-profit called Public Accountability Initiative (LittleSis). She is currently an Affiliate Fellow with the Post-Growth Institute. She holds an MS in Environmental Policy from The New School in New York and a BA in Political Studies from the American University of Beirut. She is based in Beirut.
