Sultan Alamer

Sultan Alamer is a visiting fellow at the Center for Middle Eastern Studies at Harvard University and a political science doctoral student at George Washington University. Alamer holds a master’s degree in philosophy and social policy from George Washington University. His research interests include the origins of ethnic and sectarian identities in the Middle East, state formation, legislative institutions in Gulf monarchies, contemporary Arab and Muslim political philosophy, and political violence. He is a co-founder of the Arab Political Science Network, the editor-in-chief of A3wad Qash online magazine and the executive producer of the Ghayn podcast.
