She has experience in delivering training on the establishment and development of independent media projects. She works in written, visual and audio media outlets, she has previously run several media projects in Iraq’s conflict zones, and she is a mentor and coach for Yemeni journalists working with Internews. Winner of the 2019 Najiba Hamrouni Award in Tunisia for her article “Women of Mosul after ISIS: Who said that the challenges and practices left behind by ISIS have disappeared with it?”
