Shahd is a law student, feminist and social change activist from Sudan Her primary areas of interest centre on addressing and tackling Gender-Based Violence. She is especially intrigued with how anthropology helps understand the underlying causes of GBV and how culture, traditions, and beliefs interact to influence both individual and societal attitudes towards women.

She endeavours to combine her love for law and advocacy to create social justice in Sudan.
