Sara Hess

Associate Economic Affairs Officer

Sara Hess is an Associate Economic Affairs Officer with the UN’s Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia in Beirut where she works in the Climate Change and Natural Resource Sustainability Cluster, primarily on issues related to water security and finance. Previously, she was with the UN’s Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean in Mexico City. Ms. Hess holds a master’s in urban and regional planning from MIT and a bachelor’s in economics from Wellesley College.
