Salma is an Egyptian activist, based in Lebanon, as the Advocacy and Communications Manager at the Anti-Racism Movement. She has experience working with migrant, internally displaced, and refugee populations in Egypt and Iraq, where she specialized in GBV response and child protection. She holds an MA in International Human Rights Law from the School of Oriental and African Studies in London, where her research focused on arbitrary detention and persecution on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity in Egypt.
