Economic researcher holding a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science, with over 8 years of experience working on issues of inequality, poverty, and the political economy of governance in Egypt. He has been involved in numerous research projects at both the local and regional levels and has co-authored several Arabic books, including “AISH MRARH: The Political Economy of Food Sovereignty” with Saqr Al-Nour,e has also published many standalone research papers for various international and regional institutions such as Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung and the Transnational Institute, among others. Currently, he works as a financial analyst at a private investment company in Cairo. He contributes articles to several Arabic and English journalistic platforms, including MediMasr, Hibr, Ida’at, and Safar, among others.
