Mehdi Chérif

Mehdi Cherif is a Tunisian sociologist and civil society activist. He holds a master’s degree in sociology from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of Tunis, as well as BA in sociology from the same institution and a BSc in social psychology from the Open University (UK). His main areas of interest are education policy, the relations between education and employment, and youth civic engagement. He is also the co-founder of Fahmologia, a nonprofit university club network aiming to reinforce science communication in Tunisia. Mehdi acts as a consultant, trainer and public speaker on issues related to sociological research, youth civic engagement and science communication.
