Mariem Madhi, a Tunisian researcher and an environmental activist within the Tunisian civil society, currently enriching her expertise through an internship in the environmental politics program in ARI while pursuing her PhD at the Faculty of Economics and Management in Sfax, Tunisia. Her academic focus delves into the critical intersections of environmental tax reforms, climate change, sustainable development, and environmental economics, reflecting her commitment to addressing some of the most pressing challenges of our time. Her advocacy and research are aimed at fostering sustainable development through innovative economic solutions, demonstrating her belief in the power of informed policy to effect tangible environmental improvements.
