Marianna Al-Tabba is an independent Syrian researcher and analyst. Her areas of research expertise include conflict analysis, political participation, policy making and media studies. She has more than ten years of experience in data collection, research design and performing analysis, in addition to statistical analysis of datasets. She founded a research collective, an entity that aims to help junior researchers to gain understanding, skills and expertise to launch their careers in policy-oriented social science fields. Prior to joining ARI, she worked for BBC Media Action, United Nations programs and others. She holds an MA in politics from New York University where she focused on dictatorships’ policy making in the MENA region.
