Master’s degree in assessing the status of NGOs in conflict zones
Analyst in charge of gender and women’s empowerment programs and projects within the United Nations Development Programme in Syria. She headed and formed the Gender and Women’s Empowerment Team with Oxfam. The scope of her work is based on positive change in individual behaviour for equality, equity and community justice by mainstreaming the human rights and relational concepts of the gender perspective and integrating it into various programs and activities with the aim of empowering women, girls and the most vulnerable groups. She works on establishing dialogue across the societal spectrum and creating a safe space for participation in various areas of life in order to help people recover from crises and build peace to achieve genuine and sustainable development.
