Researcher, consultant and women’s rights activist. Her work covers topics related to humanitarian response, international development, refugees, migration, civil society, peace-building, gender and women’s participation. She has worked and published articles for several leading research centers, United Nations agencies and international organizations. She has also supported the participation of Syrian women in the peace process and contributed to a series of national consultations by Syrian women’s groups to discuss the peace process in Syria from a feminist perspective, covering topics such as the Constitution, the political process, the return of displaced Syrians, reconstruction and a safe economic environment. She has written several research papers on women, including the participation of Syrian women in the peace process negotiations.
