Islam al Khatib is a Palestinian refugee, born and raised in Beirut. Her previous projects focused on methods for the ‘technocene’ and defining knowledge amid algorithmic warfare. Her current project focuses on non-extractive methodologies. She has a Masters in Gender, Media and Culture from Goldsmiths, University of London, where she also worked as the Students’ Union Welfare and Liberation officer. She is a member of Wiki Gender.
