Georges Philippe is completing his second year in the graduate program in Public Policy and International Affairs at the American University of Beirut, where he serves as Teaching and Research Assistant. Before joining AUB, he earned his BA in Political and Administrative Sciences from the Lebanese University. He also interned at the Issam Fares Institute for Public Policy and International Affairs, assisting the Research Development Unit and the Refugee and Migration Program. His research interests revolve around ecologies and solidarities in the Mediterranean, as he is currently working on his thesis on toxic waste ships to Lebanon.
