Executive Director of the Academic Foundation for Strategic Studies, Development and Human Rights in Yemen. She has participated in the discussion and the approval of the women’s rights draft legislation in Yemen’s new Constitution and in the assessment of civil society’s vision of the national plan to implement UN Security Council Resolution 1325 on Women, Peace and Security. She has also co-authored a national strategy on women’s participation in promoting coexistence at the local level. She is trained on how to implement Resolution 1325 and in the field of human rights. She is also a founding member of the Peace Partners Alliance among the Group of Nine.
