Diala Ahwach is a Program Coordinator on human rights and social justice at the Arab Reform Initiative. She earned her Masters in critical media and cultural studies from Soas, University of London, with a focus on concepts such as media democratization, political hegemony and social justice journalism. Her professional background encompasses media production at BBC Arabic, collaborations with media platforms, and publication of independent research. As an independent journalist and researcher, she is committed to knowledge production serving social justice causes in Lebanon and the region.
