Aisha Aljaedy

Aisha Al-Jaedy is a Yemeni feminist writer and researcher based in Cairo. She holds a degree in Political Science from the American University in Cairo, with a focus on public international law, and is currently completing an MA in Sociology/Anthropology, also at AUC, where her thesis focuses on Yemeni feminist activists and women human rights defenders navigating exile, exploring themes of movement, memory, care, and transformation of identity and activism.

She has worked across policy research, journalism, and gender and social inclusion, with experience at the Sana’a Center for Strategic Studies, SMEX, and IFAD. Her broader research and writing interests center on gender, sexuality, and minority rights.
