The emergence and growth of an intellectual political and social stream in the Arab region raises questions about how to move it from the stage of an intellectual debate to that of discussing and preparing the mechanisms and tools that can enhance its legitimacy and help it identify the most effective strategies to tackle issues specific to the region and to choose its allies in various sectors.

In this context, the Arab Reform Initiative held a workshop in Beirut on 7 and 8 March 2017 with the participation of a group of actors from the region.
