Aleppo voices support for truce - in new opinion survey
Our new survey shows 53% of residents are in favour for a truce under any circumstances.
Conducted by ARI, the survey of 975 Aleppo residents in opposition-controlled areas shows a majority in favour of a freeze in the fighting- as proposed by the de Mistura truce initiative.
They support a truce - whatever the outcome - showing a strong vote for peace.
