
Stavros Evdokimos Pantazopoulos
Dr. Stavros-Evdokimos Pantazopoulos is a Teaching Fellow at the School of Law of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) and an Associate Fellow at the T.M.C. Asser Institute.
Stavros is also a postdoctoral researcher with the SustaINLaw project, funded by the Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation, and the Exposed project, funded by the Kone Foundation. He is a founding member of the Environmental Peacebuilding Association and a member of the World Commission on Environmental Law.
Stavros obtained his Ph.D. in International Law from the European University Institute (EUI) and holds three LL.M. degrees in International Law from NKUA, the London School of Economics (LSE), and the EUI. His research focuses on the legal dimensions of environmental protection during and after armed conflict, including accountability for conflict-related environmental harm and the emerging debate on ecocide. He has published in the fields of international humanitarian law, international environmental law, international cultural heritage law, and autonomous weapons systems.
