The Continuation of Securitocracy in Egypt
In late 2013, bloody conflict erupted in Kerdasa on the outskirts of Cairo and in the Sinai peninsula. These two papers observe the mechanisms by which the Egyptian security forces are dealing with citizen protests, and shed light on their continuing activities and psychological repression more than two years after the revolution.
