Salam Kawakibi speaks at "Médecins du Monde" Forum on Syria
Salam Kawakibi, Political Science Researcher and Acting Director of the Arab Reform Initiative (ARI), spoke recently at a forum organized by Médecins du Monde (MDM) in Paris about the escalating situation in Syria.
The forum discussed "Where is Syria" and how has it come to this in light of regional issues and their prospects and if there is a possible humanitarian response to help the Syrian people.
Speakers included Philippe Droz-Vincent, Political Scientist specializing in the Middle East, Professor of Political Science at the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Toulouse and at Sciences Po Paris, Hala Kodmani, Journalist and Founder of "Souria Houria" Association, Laurent CORBAZ, International Red Cross Delegate in France and a representative of Syrian Medical organizations. The forum took place on April 5th.
