Virginie Collombier is a research fellow at the Middle East Directions Programme at the European University Institute of Florence, and Libya Project Associate at Norwegian Centre for Conflict Resolution (NOREF). She specializes in the social and political dynamics in Libya, with a focus on processes of mediation and reconciliation; the political economy of conflicts; and security issues.
